Gary New Duluth Memorial Day Ceremony

The Gary-New Duluth 2024 Memorial Day Ceremony will be held on Monday, 27 May at 9am at the Gary-New Duluth Veterans Memorial on the corner of Commonwealth Avenue and Stowe Street in Duluth, Minnesota. Speakers include Mayor Roger Reinert and Mike Waldron, Marine Corp. veteran serving in Desert Storm and the Executive Director of the 23rd Veteran.

Please come out to honor those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our Country and all of us.

Refreshments will be served at the GND REC after the Ceremony.

matching grant challenge raised above our goal ! Final total raised  $28,535!

SUCCESS! We met and succeeded our target for our matching challenge grant.  It is humbling how giving our community is and we greatly appreciate all who donated.

We value and take pride in our community and each of its members, education, physical activity, and our environment, those who promote positive actions and give back to our community and appreciate the opportunity to have fun as we promote service in our community and strong personal relationships between its members.

WHAT CAN YOU DO?

The GND Community Center and Recreation Area is dedicated to providing a place to be used by members of the community for social, cultural, learning and recreational purposes.

The community is in a period of transition with many new people moving to the community. The GND REC provides the catalyst for bringing the community together, benefiting young people and seniors alike while instilling an overall sense of pride throughout the community.
